Building Information Modeling (BIM)

We use BIM to create data-rich model in three or more dimensions that facilitate better design and to visualize and communicate design intent that help non-technical stakeholder to visualize the scope of design and construction. In addition, we use BIM across all disciplines - architectural, civil, electrical, HVAC, instrumentation, plumbing, process and structural - to improve productivity and communication, reduce the conflict and changes during the construction phase and reduce cost and schedule.

At SEAI, we also use the 4D scheduling to identify the construction problems prior to construction phase and if there is any lack of information for construction planning, and to ensure that the client understanding of the work scope is same as the construction team will interrupt to orchestrate the actual field installation of design components.
